Biological Activity: Vamikibart (EBI-031) is a humanized IgG2κ monoclonal antibody targeting IL-6, with high binding affinity for IL-6 and the IL-6/IL-6R complex. Vamikibart reduces central retinal thickness, resolves intraretinal and subretinal foveal fluid, and decreases the levels of intraocular inflammatory markers. Vamikibart can be used in studies of uveitic macular edema (UME) secondary to non-infectious uveitis[1][2].
