Biological Activity: Norviburtinal is a non-selective cytotoxic and pro-angiogenic agent. Norviburtinal has an IC50 of 3.25 μg/mL on G361 melanoma cells and an effective concentration of 50 μg/mL on zebrafish embryos. Norviburtinal promotes capillary sprout formation in zebrafish subintestinal vessels (SIV) and has both cytotoxic and pro-angiogenic activities. Norviburtinal can be used in research on promoting angiogenesis related to melanoma, lung cancer, and wound healing[1][2].
