MEGA-9 acts as a membrane solubilizer, forms vesicles, solubilizes milk fat, eliminates non-specific reactions of test strips, and restores antigen-antibody reactions in cheddar cheese homogenates for the detection of staphylococcal enterotoxin B (SEB)[1][2].
