Biological Activity: trans-Cefprozil is a trans-isomer of Cefprozil (HY-B0458A). Cefprozil is a cephalosporin Antibiotic. trans-Cefprozil exhibits antibacterial activity. The antibacterial activity of trans-Cefprozil against Gram-positive bacteria is similar to that of cis-Cefprozil, but its activity against Gram-negative bacteria is lower than that of cis-Cefprozil. trans-Cefprozil can be used for research on Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli infections[1][2][3].
