MG-H1
MG-H1 is a RAGE ligand, advanced glycation end product cross-link, and pathogenic mediator with relevance to diabetic vasculopathy. MG-H1 binds to RAGE and competes with CM1 for RAGE binding on endothelial cells. MG-H1 is implicated in diabetic vasculopathy pathogenesis. MG-H1 can be used for the research of diabetic vasculopathy.

MG-H1 (10-11-10-5 M; 60 min) binds to RAGE on intact human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVEC) with a Kd of 4.12 nM, a Bmax of 18.72 fmol/mg protein, and an IC50 of 1.699 × 10-8 M, achieving saturated binding within 60 min of incubation at 37 °C[1].
MG-H1 (10-10-10-9 M; 60 min) competes with CM1 for binding to RAGE on intact human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVEC), as pre-incubation with 10-10 M MG-H1 yields a CM1 IC50 of 1.37 × 10-9 M, while pre-incubation with 10-9 M MG-H1 increases the CM1 IC50 to 4.56 × 10-8 M[1].
MG-H1 (10-11-10-5 M; 60 min pre-incubation, 60 min co-incubation) dose-dependently displaces CM1 from RAGE binding sites on intact human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVEC), with increasing MG-H1 concentrations correlating with reduced CM1 binding and increased MG-H1 binding[1].
