DNA gyrase/Topo IV-IN-3
DNA gyrase/Topo IV-IN-3 is an inhibitor of Escherichia coli DNA gyrase and Topoisomerase IV, with IC50 values of 1.75 μM and 3.47 μM, respectively. DNA gyrase/Topo IV-IN-3 acts as a biofilm inhibitor and exhibits antibacterial activity against both Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria. DNA gyrase/Topo IV-IN-3 can be used in studies related to bacterial infections.

TOPO IV 3.47 μM (IC50) |
In Vitro
DNA gyrase/Topo IV-IN-3 (Compound 6g) exhibits strong antibacterial activity against E. coli, moderate activity against P. aeruginosa and S. aureus, and negligible activity against B. subtilis in the disk diffusion assay[1].
DNA gyrase/Topo IV-IN-3 exhibits inhibitory activity against the growth of E. coli comparable to that of Ciprofloxacin (HY-B0356), while its inhibitory activity against P. aeruginosa and S. aureus is half that of Ciprofloxacin, with MIC values of 0.025, 0.025 and 0.125 μg/mL, respectively[1].
DNA gyrase/Topo IV-IN-3 (50 μM; 4 days) exhibits no cytotoxicity against the normal human mammary epithelial cell line MCF-10A[1].
DNA gyrase/Topo IV-IN-3 (0.00625-0.025 μg/mL) exhibits significant dose-dependent antibiofilm activity against E. coli, with an inhibition rate of 96% at its MIC of 0.025 μg/mL[1].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
