DNA polymerase-IN-6
DNA polymerase-IN-6 is an antiviral agent and a DNA polymerase inhibitor. DNA polymerase-IN-6 inhibits the replication of HCMV, HSV-1, HSV-2 and EBV. DNA polymerase-IN-6 exhibits low cytotoxicity in mammalian cells. DNA polymerase-IN-6 can be used in research related to viral infections.

DNA polymerase-IN-6 (compound 27) inhibits the replication of HCMV in MRC-5 cells with an EC50 value of 0.33 μM; additionally, it shows no cytotoxicity against MRC-5 cells at concentrations up to 40 μM[1].
DNA polymerase-IN-6 inhibits plaque formation of HCMV in HFF-1 cells, with an EC50 value of 0.21 μM[1].
DNA polymerase-IN-6 inhibits the HCMV Davis strain in MRC-5 cells with an EC50 of 0.20 μM, and shows no cytotoxicity against MRC-5 cells at concentrations up to 40 μM[1].
DNA polymerase-IN-6 inhibits the replication of HSV-1 in Vero cells with an EC50 of 1.9 μM, and shows no cytotoxicity against Vero cells at concentrations up to 40 μM[1].
