GlcB-IN-1 (compound 19) binds to malate synthase (GlcB) from Mycobacterium tuberculosis, and the resulting complex retains the closed active site lid and the "inward" conformation of the CoA-binding loop, forming a weak hydrogen bond with Met-631[1].
