HBV-IN-29
HBV-IN-29 (ex8), a flavone derivative, is a potent covalently closed circular DNA (cccDNA) inhibitor. cccDNA serves as the template for viral RNA transcription and subsequent viral DNA generation. HBV-IN-29 has the potential for the research of HBV infection.

Biological Activity
HBV-IN-29 (ex8; 24 h) inhibits HBeAg levels and cell viability with an IC50 value of 1.34 μM in HepDES19 cells. HepDES19 is the cell line that produces cccDNA[1].
HBV-IN-29 (5 days) decreases cccDNA levels in HepDES19 cells in a dose-dependent manner[1].
HBV-IN-29 (9 days; primary human hepatocyte (PHH)) has anti-HBV effect and inhibits HBeAg with an IC50 value of 0.12 μM[1].
