HA-29
HA-29 is an antiplatelet aggregation agent. HA-29 acts as a cyclooxygenase inhibitor and a thromboxane A2/prostaglandin endoperoxide receptor antagonist. HA-29 exerts its effects by inhibiting cyclooxygenase to block the formation of thromboxane A2 (TXA2), while simultaneously blocking the TXA2/prostaglandin endoperoxide receptor on platelets as a non-competitive antagonist. HA-29 can be used in antithrombotic research.

HA-29 (10-100 μg/mL; 3 min) concentration-dependently inhibits thrombus formation and ATP release induced by Arachidonic acid (HY-109590) and Collagen (HY-P2738) in washed rabbit platelets, with IC50 values of 42.0 μg/mL and 54.8 μg/mL, respectively. It does not affect platelet responses to ADP, platelet-activating factor, or thrombin, and its inhibitory activity is reversible. Additionally, at a concentration of 100 μg/mL, it suppresses Arachidonic acid-induced prostaglandin D2 production[1].
HA-29 (10-100 μg/mL; 3 min) acts as a non-competitive thromboxane A2/prostaglandin endoperoxide receptor antagonist in washed rabbit platelets. It inhibits U-46619 (HY-108566)-induced aggregation with an IC50 of 42.1 μg/mL. The resulting Schild plot yields a pA2 value of 4.26 and a pA10 value of 3.58, and HA-29 exerts a time-dependent disaggregatory effect on established U-46619-induced aggregation[1].
HA-29 (100 μg/mL; 6 min) almost completely inhibits U-46619-induced inositol monophosphate production, but does not inhibit production induced by Collagen or Thrombin (HY-114164) in washed rabbit platelets labeled with [3H]inositol[1].
