CD150
null CD150, the founding member of the signaling lymphocytic activation molecule (SLAM) family, is encoded by SLAMF1 and engages in homophilic interactions with itself rather than binding a heterologous ligand. Expressed on T cells, B cells, dendritic cells and platelets, the receptor delivers costimulatory signals through SAP-dependent and SAP-independent pathways. CD150 gained wider fame as the receptor used by measles virus and canine distemper virus for lymphocyte entry, explaining the immune suppression these infections produce. In hematopoiesis, CD150 expression discriminates long-term repopulating stem cells, with CD150-positive, CD48-negative cells marking the most primitive murine hematopoietic stem cell fraction. Recombinant CD150 supports SLAM-family signaling and viral tropism research.

The EpCAM/TROP1 protein serves as an important homogeneous interacting molecule that promotes direct contact between intestinal epithelial cells (IEC) and intraepithelial lymphocytes (IEL) in the mucosal epithelium. This feature helps establish an immune barrier against mucosal infections. EpCAM/TROP1 Protein, Human (His-SUMO) is the recombinant human-derived EpCAM/TROP1 protein, expressed by E. coli , with N-6*His, N-SUMO labeled tag.
