MEK1 Derived Peptide Inhibitor 1
MEK1 Derived Peptide Inhibitor 1 is a ERK2 inhibitor that inhibits the activation of ERK2 by MEK1 in vitro, with an IC50 of 30 μM, and exhibits selectivity for ERK over JNK and p38 kinases. MEK1 Derived Peptide Inhibitor 1 can be used to study ERK activation and ERK-mediated responses.

Biological Activity
MEK1 Derived Peptide Inhibitor 1 (Peptide 1) potently and selectively inhibits MEK1-mediated activation of purified ERK2 protein in vitro, with an IC50 of 30 μM[1].
MEK1 Derived Peptide Inhibitor 1 fails to inhibit ERK activation in PMA-stimulated NIH 3T3 cells at concentrations >100 μM due to the lack of cellular uptake[1].
MEK1 Derived Peptide Inhibitor 1 fails to inhibit ERK activation in NGF-stimulated PC12 cells at concentrations >100 μM due to the lack of cellular uptake[1].
