Description

Naringenin 4',7-dimethyl ether, Naringenin (HY-N0100) derivative is an anti-seizure agent. Naringenin 4',7-dimethyl ether attenuates pentylenetetrazole-induced seizures in larval zebrafish and reduces seizures in the mouse 6-Hz psychomotor seizure model. Naringenin 4',7-dimethyl ether can be used for the research of epilepsy[1].

In Vivo

Naringenin 4′,7-dimethyl ether (Compound NRG-DM) (12.5 μM; 1 h) potently attenuates PTZ-induced seizures in Danio rerio larvae, and nearly eliminating epileptiform brain activity[1].
Naringenin 4′,7-dimethyl ether (2-25 mg/kg; i.p.; single injection 30 minutes prior to electrical stimulation) protects mice against 6-Hz psychomotor seizures, with complete protection at 6.25 mg/kg and significant reduction in seizure duration[1].
