SDH-IN-56
SDH-IN-56 is a succinate dehydrogenase (SDH) inhibitor that blocks succinate oxidation and fungal energy metabolism. SDH-IN-56 disrupts fungal cell membrane integrity and increases membrane permeability, leading to leakage of intracellular contents and a decrease in extracellular pH. SDH-IN-56 induces intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS) accumulation and loss of mitochondrial membrane potential. SDH-IN-56 can be used for research on fungal infections.

Biological Activity
Description
In Vitro
SDH-IN-56 (0.18-6.25 mg/L) inhibits the colony expansion of M. fructicola and B. cinerea in a concentration-dependent manner, with almost complete inhibition at 6.25 mg/L[1].
SDH-IN-56 (50-200 mg/L) exhibits protective activity and post-inoculation activity against peach fruit infected with M. fructicola; on day 6, the protective inhibition rate at 200 mg/L is 77.6%, and the post-inoculation inhibition rate is 69.1%[1].
SDH-IN-56 (0.196-0.49 mg/L) disrupts the mycelial morphology and cellular ultrastructure of M. fructicola[1].
SDH-IN-56 (1-10 mg/L; 30-120 min) impairs the membrane integrity of M. fructicola, increases permeability, and leads to the leakage of electrolytes, nucleic acids, and proteins[1].
SDH-IN-56 (0.196-0.49 mg/L; 3 d) disrupts the cell membrane integrity of M. fructicola in a dose-dependent manner[1].
