CGTDP is a fluorescent probe used for selective labeling of active-site arginine residues, detection of local polarity, and monitoring of conformational changes in enzyme active sites. CGTDP contains a neutral red moiety serving as a polarity-sensitive fluorophore, and a phenylglyoxal unit acting as an arginine-specific labeling group; it undergoes a selective reaction via its α-dicarbonyl moiety with the guanidyl group of arginine residues in enzyme active sites to form a covalent linkage, thereby enabling the reporting of the local microenvironment at the labeled site. The excitation/emission wavelengths are Ex/Em = 398/607 nm and Ex/Em = 507/607 nm; these wavelengths blue-shift in organic solvents, such as Ex/Em = 375/569 nm and Ex/Em = 469/569 nm in THF, and Ex/Em = 375/587 nm and Ex/Em = 470/587 nm in acetonitrile. When labeled onto creatine kinase, its excitation/emission wavelengths are Ex/Em = 493/590 nm .

Synonyms: GDP disodium salt (Standard)
Guanosine 5'-diphosphate (disodium salt) (Standard) is the analytical standard of Guanosine 5'-diphosphate (disodium salt). This product is intended for research and analytical applications. Guanosine 5'-diphosphate (GDP) disodium salt, a purine nucleoside diphosphate, is interconverted to guanosine by the action of exonucleotidase and phosphorylation of nucleoside to guanine. Guanosine 5'-diphosphate disodium salt activates adenosine 5'-triphosphate-sensitive K+ channel and is used to study the kinetics and characteristics of GTPases such as those associated with G-protein coupled receptors (GPCR). Guanosine 5'-diphosphate disodium salt is a potential iron mobilizer, which prevents the Hepcidin (HY-P70400)-ferroportin interaction and modulates the interleukin-6 (IL-6)/stat-3 pathway. Elevated levels of guanosine 5’-diphosphate are associated with the pathogenesis of neurological diseases. Guanosine 5'-diphosphate disodium salt is promising for the research of inflammation, such as anemia of inflammation (AI) .

ATB-429, a novel H2S-releasing derivative of mesalamine, demonstrates significant anti-nociceptive and anti-inflammatory effects in models of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). By releasing hydrogen sulfide (H2S), ATB-429 modulates colorectal distension-induced hypersensitivity in both healthy and postcolitic rats. It attenuates abdominal withdrawal responses and suppresses spinal c-Fos mRNA expression, indicating its potential to alleviate pain associated with gastrointestinal inflammation. Moreover, ATB-429 down-regulates colonic cyclooxygenase-2 and interleukin-1β mRNA expression, effects not observed with mesalamine alone. The mechanism involves ATP-sensitive K+ (KATP) channels, as evidenced by reversal of ATB-429's effects with glibenclamide. These findings suggest ATB-429 could offer therapeutic benefits for managing painful intestinal disorders linked to inflammation .

Ionizable lipids are a class of specialized, functional lipid molecules with pH-sensitive charge characteristics. They are primarily divided into two major categories: ionizable cationic lipids and ionizable anionic lipids, though the term typically specifies ionizable cationic lipids within the biomedical field. Structurally, these lipids consist of an ionizable hydrophilic headgroup, a biodegradable linker, and hydrophobic tails. Their primary application is serving as the key delivery vehicle in lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) to encapsulate negatively charged nucleic acid macromolecules, such as mRNA vaccines, siRNA therapeutics, and CRISPR gene-editing components. In a physiological, neutral environment, they remain electrically neutral to minimize systemic toxicity and prolong circulation time. Upon entering the acidic microenvironment of cellular endosomes, however, they undergo protonation to become positively charged, thereby inducing membrane fusion and enabling the highly efficient intracellular release of the nucleic acid cargo. Consequently, they serve as the technological cornerstone for bringing nucleic acid therapies into clinical application.

To accelerate the translational process of cutting-edge nucleic acid drugs, MCE has meticulously constructed an ionizable lipid compound library containing 93 high-performance molecules, aiming to provide researchers and pharmaceutical professionals with a high-throughput, multi-dimensional lipid screening platform.
