Trimethyl[3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyl]ammonium chloride (50% in methanol) can be prepared as quaternized functional porous silica spheres through co-precipitation method[1].
Trimethyl[3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyl]ammonium chloride (50% in methanol) can be used as a surface chemical modifier to construct a "positively charged quaternized mica substrate", which is used as a reference surface condition to study the conformational behavior of hyaluronic acid (HA) (HY-B0633A) in different surface charges/properties of polysaccharide molecules[2].
