In Vitro

2-Linoleoyl glycerol (1-50 μM; 4 h) acts as a low-affinity partial agonist of the CB1 receptor in Tango CNR1-bla U2OS cells, with a pEC50 value of 4.781. Its CB1-dependent activity is potentiated by JZL195 and completely inhibited by AM251[1].
2-Linoleoyl glycerol (10 μM) does not induce an increase in intracellular free calcium levels in NG108-15 cells[2].

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
