Pyroptosis inducer-1 enters cancer cells via endocytosis and accumulates in mitochondria and endoplasmic reticulum. Pyroptosis inducer-1 increases dendritic cells and CD8+ T cells while decreasing regulatory T cells. Pyroptosis inducer-1 can be used for breast cancer research.
