Anti-Mouse IL-6 Antibody (MP5-20F3) (0.4 mg, i.p., once daily, from day 0 to day 5 or 6) reduces the level of hepcidin to normal levels in female Balb/c and C57BL/6 mice infected with parasites[2].

Animal Model:5×105 LLC or LLC-LUC cells injected male C57BL/6J mice (6 weeks)[1]

Result:Significantly reduced MPE volume of mice.
Effectively prolonged survival period.
