Verification Image

Western blot analysis of extracts from A431 (lane2(20μg), HepG2 (lane3(20μg), Mouse liver tissue (lane4(20μg) and Rat liver tissue (lane5(20μg) using SSR1 (TRAP alpha) Antibody (HY-P88097). Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% non-fat milk in TBST for 2 hour at room temperature. The primary antibody (1/1000) and Loading control antibody (Beta Actin, HY-P80993, 1/10,000) was used in 5% non-fat milk in TBST at 4°C overnight. Goat Anti-Mouse IgG-HRP Secondary Antibody (HY-P8004 ,1/10,000) was used for 1 hour at room temperature.

Background

Function：TRAP proteins are part of a complex whose function is to bind calcium to the ER membrane and thereby regulate the retention of ER resident proteins. May be involved in the recycling of the translocation apparatus after completion of the translocation process or may function as a membrane-bound chaperone facilitating folding of translocated proteins
