MR2-cy5 is a clustered mannose ligand that binds CD206 and enables fluorescence detection of CD206⁺ macrophages; its fluorescence is selective for CD206⁺ macrophages and colocalizes with CD206 immunostaining in the infarcted brain region after ischemic stroke. MR2-cy5 can be used for research on ischemic stroke.

Incubation Time:

1 h at 37°C (MR2-cy5); 24 h (polarization)
Result:

Markedly higher fluorescence signal was produced in IL-4-induced CD206⁺ macrophages than in IFN-γ-induced CD206⁻ macrophages.
