β-Sitosterol 3-O-galactopyranoside undergoes benzoylation to form β-sitosteryl β-D-galactoside tetrabenzoate[1].
Acid hydrolysis of β-Sitosterol 3-O-galactopyranoside yields β-sitosterol and galactose[1].
