SOAT-IN-3
SOAT-IN-3 is a selective inhibitor of sodium-dependent organic anion transporter (SOAT/SLC10A6). SOAT-IN-3 reduces intracellular estradiol synthesis, the process of dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) production from DHEAS, and DHEAS-induced cancer cell proliferation. SOAT-IN-3 shows no cytotoxicity against breast cancer cells at the tested concentrations. SOAT-IN-3 can be used in the research of breast cancer.

SOAT-IN-3 (compound 24) (10 μM; 5 min preincubation) potently inhibits sodium-dependent SOAT-mediated [3H]DHEAS uptake in MCF-7_SOAT breast cancer cells[1].
SOAT-IN-3 (10 μM; 10 min preincubation) completely inhibits DHEAS-induced proliferation in MCF-7_SOAT breast cancer cells, and no cytotoxic effect is observed when it is used alone[1].
SOAT-IN-3 (10 μM; 10 min preincubation) significantly reduces the levels of DHEA and estradiol generated from DHEAS in MCF-7_SOAT breast cancer cells[1].
SOAT-IN-3 potently inhibits SOAT-mediated DHEAS transport in SOAT-transfected HEK293 cells, with an IC50 of 0.6 μM[1].
SOAT-IN-3 (0.1-10 μM; 24 h) exhibits no cytotoxicity in MCF-7SOAT or MCF-7FRT breast cancer cells[1].
