Biological Activity: Xanthone V1a, a derivative of Xanthone (HY-N0126), is an antioxidant that can be found in the roots of Cudrania tricuspidata and twig extracts of Maclura fruticosa. Xanthone V1a exerts cytotoxic effects against colon, hepatocellular, and gastric carcinoma cells. Xanthone V1a exhibits scavenging activitys against DPPH and ABTS. Xanthone V1a can be used for the research of colon carcinoma, hepatocellular carcinoma, and gastric carcinoma[1][2].
