Biological Activity: Tenacissoside C is an anti-cancer compound that inhibits angiogenesis. Tenacissoside C induces apoptosis in cancer cells by down-regulating the expression of anti-apoptotic factors and activating caspase-9 and caspase-3. Tenacissoside C also causes cell cycle arrest in cancer cells and induces apoptosis through the mitochondrial pathway.
