Biological Activity: Caprochlorone has antiviral activity against orthopoxvirus. Caprochlorone can inhibit cell penetration by virus, also delays release of newly formed virus from the cell. Caprochlorone decreases the titers of influenza virus in infected-mice lungs[1][2][3].
