Biological Activity: L-Guluronic acid is a coagulation factor X inhibitor. L-Guluronic acid can replace L-Iduronic acid (HY-135197) in the anticoagulant pentasaccharide of heparin-like substances, while retaining the inhibitory activity against factor Xa. L-Guluronic acid can be used in the research of diseases with coagulation disorders such as deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism[1].
