Biological Activity: Propiomazine is an orally active antihistamine agent. Propiomazine is a potent prolactin (PRL) release stimulant, whose effect depends on the antagonism of the dopaminergic system and can inhibit the secretion of luteinizing hormone (LH). Propiomazine is mainly used for anesthesia assistance, mental disorders and anxiety-induced sedation, and can also be used in research related to insomnia[1][2][3][4].
