Biological Activity: Pronethalol ((±)-Pronethalo) is a non-selective β-adrenergic antagonist. Pronethalol is a potent inhibitor of Sox2 expression. Pronethalol protects against and to reverse Digitalis-induced ventricular arrhythmias, and limits the cerebral arteriovenous malformation (AVMs)[1][2].
