Biological Activity: Metamizole (Dipyrone) hemimagnesium is an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant agent with the property of reducing body temperature. Metamizole hemimagnesium can decrease the levels of C-reactive protein (CRP) and interleukin 6 (IL-6). It is also an orally active cyclooxygenase (COX) inhibitor. Metamizole hemimagnesium can inhibit cell proliferation and promote apoptosis. It can be used in the research of inflammation and fever[1].
