Phenylpropiolic acid inhibits the growth of Yersinia enterocolitica, disrupts its cell membrane integrity, and increases the survival rate of infected Caenorhabditis elegans. Phenylpropiolic acid can be used in studies related to yersiniosis and gastroenteritis[1][2].
