Biological Activity: 3,4-Dihydroxyamphetamine (α-Methyldopamine) (hydrochloride) is a secondary metabolite of 3,4-Methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA). 3, 4-dihydroxyamphetamine (hydrochloride) is cytotoxic to rat hepatocytes. 3, 4-dihydroxyamphetamine (hydrochloride) is also used in the study of high blood pressure[1][2][3].
