GPR109 receptor agonist-3 reduces total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) and increases high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) in high-fat diet-fed rats. GPR109 receptor agonist-3 can be used for the study of atherosclerosis[1].
