Biological Activity: Luteolin 7-O-(6-O-malonyl-β-D-glucoside) is an orally active flavonoid free radical scavenger. Luteolin 7-O-(6-O-malonyl-β-D-glucoside) scavenges free radicals, inhibits the activity elevation of aspartate aminotransferase and alanine aminotransferase in mouse plasma, as well as the elevation of liver lipid hydroperoxide content. Luteolin 7-O-(6-O-malonyl-β-D-glucoside) is applicable for liver injury research[1].
