Malpinin A (5.45 μg mL^-1-4× IC₅₀ concentration; exposure in culture media) potently inhibits C. elegans proliferation and feeding with an IC₅₀ of 6.35 μM, leading to reduced survival and larval hatching at higher doses^[1].
Malpinin A (100 μg mL^-1; supplementation of fungal culture media) at 100 μg mL^-1 confers nematode protection to M. indohii, significantly reducing Aphelenchus avenae propagation^[1].
