QPP-I-6 is an inhibitor for acetyl-coenzyme A carboxylase (ACCase). QPP-I-6 exhibits herbicidal activity through induction of cell membrane permeability^[1].

In Vitro

QPP-I-6 exhibits herbicidal activity against Echinochloa crusgalli, Digitaria sanguinalis, Spartina alterniflora, Eleusine indica and Pennisetum alopecuroides, with inhibition rate >90%^[1].
QPP-I-6 (187.5 g/ha, 24 h) promotes production of ATP, fatty acid metabolism, and protein acetylation of P. miliaceum leaves cells^[1].
