Featured Fragment Libraries
Featured Fragment Libraries are chemical libraries rationally designed based on the fragment-based drug discovery (FBDD) strategy. The core tenet of FBDD is as follows: first, small-molecule fragments with weak binding affinity to the target are screened out; subsequently, these fragments are subjected to optimization, linkage or elaboration, ultimately yielding lead compounds with high activity and excellent selectivity. Its core advantages over traditional compound libraries originate from the intrinsic characteristics of "fragments". We provide a portfolio of high-quality, design-rule-compliant small-molecule fragment libraries, including 3D Diverse Fragment Library, Multifunctional Covalent Fragment Library and others, which can significantly enhance the efficiency and success rate of drug discovery. These fragments demonstrate tremendous potential especially in the pursuit of "undruggable" targets (e.g. protein-protein interactions, PPIs). Hence, selecting a suitable specialized fragment library is a critical step toward initiating an efficient drug discovery campaign.
