VTX-1218 is a VSIG4 inhibitor with human Kd 7.4 nM. VTX-1218 blocks VSIG4 activity, relieves VSIG4-mediated macrophage suppression, repolarizes tumor-associated macrophages and induces T cell activation. VTX-1218 upregulates cytokines and chemokines linked to immune cell recruitment. VTX-1218 can be used for the research of multiple cancer types.

VSIG4
VTX-1218 binds recombinant human, cynomolgus monkey, and rhesus monkey VSIG4 extracellular domain proteins with high affinity, exhibiting Kd values of 7.4 nM, 8.1 nM, and 9.6 nM, respectively[1].
VTX-1218 dose-dependently blocks the interaction of human VSIG4 with its complement ligands C3b and iC3b[1].
VTX-1218 repolarizes tumor-associated macrophages to proinflammatory phenotypes and promotes T cell-mediated tumor killing in primary cell in vitro assays and fresh human tumor cultures[2].
