Biological Activity
CLE-030 (Compound 34) (10 μM; for at least 3 min) increases channel currents in CHO-K1 cells transfected with human KCNQ2[1].
CLE-030 (0.1-10 μM) potently activates wild-type human KCNQ2 channels expressed in CHO cells, with an EC50 of 3.9 μM. It enhances channel currents without altering voltage sensitivity or gating kinetics[2].
CLE-030 (0.1-10 μM) shows significantly reduced activation potency toward W236A, L299A, and V302A mutant KCNQ2 channels expressed in CHO cells[2].
CLE-030 (0.1-10 μM) selectively activates human KCNQ2, KCNQ4 and KCNQ5 channels expressed in CHO cells, and exhibits no significant activity against KCNQ1, KCNQ3A315T, BKCa, Kv1.2, Kir4.1 or TREK-1 channels[2].
