Carbomer adjuvant (HS801) is an adjuvant composed of carbomer and cationic polymers. This adjuvant is safe, non-toxic, and metabolizable. It can enhance the immune response, increase the antibody titer of each antigen component of the vaccine after immunization, and reduce the number of immunizations required. It is suitable for various veterinary vaccines. It is recommended for use in porcine circovirus, mycoplasma hyopneumoniae, and haemophilus parasuis.

Filtration of the antigen before mixing with the adjuvant is recommended.

1. Mix adjuvant with antigen solution at a 1:3 ratio

(100μL adjuvant per 300μL antigen):

a. Add adjuvant dropwise with constant mixing to the immunogen solution.

b. Pipet up and down several times to ensure correct absorption of antigen by adjuvant and incubate ~10 minutes.

NOTE: Ratio (1:1~1:3) should be determined and optimized based on experimental conditions.

2. Inject into the animal, the volume depends on the site of injection.

Note: After opening, store the product refrigerated at 2–8°C and used within 3 months as soon as possible. Avoid high temperature, high pressure, and repeated freezing and thawing.
