Pro-Phe-Phe

Pro-Phe-Phe is a tripeptide composed of canonical amino acids that self-assembles into helical amyloid-like assemblies. Pro-Phe-Phe self-assembles into a network of slender, unbranched helical fibrils in phosphate buffer at pH 7.4. Pro-Phe-Phe exhibits amyloid properties, as demonstrated by thioflavin-T binding and a characteristic amyloid kinetics curve.
