VS-24

VS-24 is a DHODH inhibitor with anti-plant pathogenic fungi activity. VS-24 targets fungal DHODH and inhibits de novo pyrimidine biosynthesis. VS-24 inhibits the mycelial growth of plant pathogenic fungi and exhibits broad-spectrum antifungal activity against Valsa mali, Botrytis cinerea, Gaeumannomyces graminis, Magnaporthe oryzae, etc. VS-24 can be used for research on plant fungal diseases.

VS-24 (50 mg/L) exhibits mycelial inhibitory activity against Valsa mali, Botrytis cinerea, Gaeumannomyces graminis, and Magnaporthe oryzae, with inhibition rates of 96.0%, 76.7%, 75.3%, and 76.5%, respectively^[1].
VS-24 (50 mg/L) exhibits broad-spectrum antifungal activity against eight plant pathogenic fungi, with an EC₅₀ value of 6.05 mg/L against Valsa mali, 12.72 mg/L against Gaeumannomyces graminis, 14.82 mg/L against Botrytis cinerea, and 12.94 mg/L against Magnaporthe oryzae^[1].
VS-24 (100-200 mg/L) provides 45.1% protection against Valsa mali on apple branches at 200 mg/L and 33.3% protection at 100 mg/L^[1].
