HDAC-IN-93
HDAC-IN-93 is a HDAC inhibitor with promising total pan-HDAC inhibitory activity. HDAC-IN-93 demonstrates significant broad-spectrum antiproliferative activity across various cancer cell lines. HDAC-IN-93 induces cell apoptosis along with necrosis. HDAC-IN-93 can be used for the studies of prostate cancer and breast cancer.

HDAC-IN-93 (Compound 17) is sensitive to a variety of cancer cell lines, with particularly significant effects on prostate cancer PC-3 cells and breast cancer MCF-7 cells with IC50 values of 4.1 μM and 20.8 μM, respectively[1].
HDAC-IN-93 (4.1 μM, 24 h) causes a significant increase in the number of cells in the SubG0-G1 phase, and induces early apoptosis in MCF-7 cells[1].
HDAC-IN-93 (4.1 μM, 24 h) upregulates pro-apoptotic genes (Bax, Cyt-C, Caspase-3) and downregulates anti-apoptotic genes (Bcl-2) in MCF-7 cells[1].
HDAC-IN-93 (4.1 μM, 24 h) shows total HDAC inhibitory activity of 66.1 % at MCF-7 although shows relatively weak direct inhibitory activity against specific HDAC subtypes (6, 7, 8)[1].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
