PRKD1/PKD1
Protein kinase D1 (PKD1), encoded by PRKD1 and once called PKCμ, sits at the crossroads of DAG signaling and vesicular trafficking. Twin C1 domains recruit it to the trans-Golgi network and plasma membrane, where novel PKCs phosphorylate its activation loop and a subsequent autophosphorylation sustains activity. PKD1 regulates Golgi-to-plasma-membrane transport, NF-κB activation, HDAC5 export in cardiac hypertrophy, and cell migration and proliferation. Among the three PKD isoforms it is the best characterized and most broadly expressed. Its roles in tumor angiogenesis, metastasis and cardiac disease have made PKD1 a template for PKD-family inhibitor design.

The EpCAM/TROP1 protein serves as an important homogeneous interacting molecule that promotes direct contact between intestinal epithelial cells (IEC) and intraepithelial lymphocytes (IEL) in the mucosal epithelium. This feature helps establish an immune barrier against mucosal infections. EpCAM/TROP1 Protein, Human (His-SUMO) is the recombinant human-derived EpCAM/TROP1 protein, expressed by E. coli , with N-6*His, N-SUMO labeled tag.
