-
Animal Model:Eutetranychus africanus (Tucker)[1]
-
Dosage:10 mL per 20 liters of water; 20 mL per 20 liters of water
-
Administration:foliar spray; single application
-
Result:Reduced mite populations to 0.36 female adults per leaf (10 mL dose, 1 day post-application, 1997 rainy trial).
Reduced mite populations to 0.59 female adults per leaf (20 mL dose, 1 day post-application, 1997 rainy trial).
Resulted in a mite population of 2.14 female adults per leaf (20 mL dose, 7 days post-application, 1997 rainy trial).
Reduced mite populations to 0.16 female adults per leaf (10 mL dose, 1 day post-application, 1999 second rainy trial).
Reduced mite populations to 0.03 female adults per leaf (20 mL dose, 1 day post-application, 1999 second rainy trial).
Maintained significantly lower mite populations than amitraz and propargite treatments (both doses, 14 days post-application, 1999 second rainy trial).
Reduced mite populations to 0.26 female adults per leaf (10 mL dose, 1 day post-application, 1999 rain-free trial).
Reduced mite populations to 0.05 female adults per leaf (20 mL dose, 1 day post-application, 1999 rain-free trial).
Maintained significantly lower mite populations than untreated control (both doses, 14 days post-application, 1999 rain-free trial), with efficacy persistent for 14-21 days.
