Description
14-3-3 zeta Protein, Mouse (sf9, His) is the recombinant mouse-derived 14-3-3 zeta, expressed by Sf9 insect cells, with His labeled tag.
Background
14-3-3 zeta is an adapter protein involved in regulating a broad spectrum of general and specialized signaling pathways. It binds to numerous partners via recognition of phosphoserine or phosphothreonine motifs, typically modulating the activity of bound partners. The protein promotes cytoplasmic retention and inactivation of phosphorylated TFEB. By similarity, it enhances ARHGEF7 activity on RAC1 to induce lamellipodia and membrane ruffle formation, and in neurons, regulates spine maturation through ARHGEF7 activity modulation (By similarity).
