Description
AANAT Protein, Human (His-GST) is the recombinant human-derived AANAT, expressed by E. coli, with N-10*His, N-GST labeled tag.
Background
AANAT regulates the day/night rhythm of melatonin production in the pineal gland. It catalyzes the N-acetylation of serotonin to form N-acetylserotonin, the penultimate step in melatonin synthesis.
