B7-H2/ICOSLG Protein, Rat (HEK293, His)
Based on 1 Customer Validation
B7-H2/ICOSLG Protein, a ligand for T-cell receptor ICOS, critically costimulates T-cell proliferation and cytokine secretion. It induces B-cell proliferation and supports plasma cell differentiation, playing a key role in local tissue responses to inflammation. B7-H2/ICOSLG also modulates the secondary immune response by co-stimulating memory T-cell function. In molecular interactions, it has been observed to interact with CTLA4 in vitro. B7-H2/ICOSLG Protein, Rat (HEK293, His) is the recombinant rat-derived B7-H2/ICOSLG protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.

Background
B7-H2/ICOSLG protein serves as a ligand for the T-cell-specific cell surface receptor ICOS, functioning as a critical costimulatory signal for T-cell proliferation and cytokine secretion. Additionally, it induces B-cell proliferation and facilitates their differentiation into plasma cells. This protein is poised to play a significant role in mediating local tissue responses to inflammatory conditions, as well as in modulating the secondary immune response by co-stimulating memory T-cell function. In molecular interactions, B7-H2/ICOSLG has been shown to interact with CTLA4 in vitro.
Verified Bioactivity
Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized Rat B7-H2 at 1μg/mL (100 μL/well) can bind Mouse ICOS. The ED50 for this effect is 89.92 ng/mL.
