CDCP1 Protein, Human (HEK293, His)

Customer Review

Based on 1 Customer Validation

CDCP1 protein may be involved in cell adhesion and extracellular matrix association. Phosphorylation of CDCP1 may regulate the balance between anchorage and migration, proliferation, and differentiation. CDCP1 Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived CDCP1 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.

Biological Activity

Description

CDCP1 protein may be involved in cell adhesion and extracellular matrix association. Phosphorylation of CDCP1 may regulate the balance between anchorage and migration, proliferation, and differentiation. CDCP1 Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived CDCP1 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.

Background

CDCP1 protein is potentially involved in cell adhesion and the association with the extracellular matrix. Its phosphorylation may play a role in regulating the balance between anchorage and migration, as well as proliferation and differentiation. Additionally, CDCP1 has shown promise as a novel marker for leukemia diagnosis and for identifying immature hematopoietic stem cell subsets. It belongs to the tetraspanin web, which is implicated in tumor progression and metastasis. CDCP1 interacts with several proteins including CDH2/N-cadherin, CDH3/P-cadherin, SDC1/syndecan-1, SDC4/syndecan-4, the serine protease ST14/MT-SP1, as well as SRC and PRKCG/protein kinase C gamma, suggesting its involvement in various cellular processes and signaling pathways.

Verified Bioactivity

1.Immobilized Human CDCP1 at 2 μg/mL (100μL/Well). Dose response curve for Anti-CDCP1 Antibody with the EC50 < 8.0 ng/mL determined by ELISA.
2.Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. When Recombinant Human CDCP1 is immobilized at 1 µg/mL (100 µL/well) can bind Human P-Cadherin . The ED50 for this effect is 1.046 μg/mL.
