CLEC9A Protein, Mouse (HEK293, Fc)

The CLEC9A protein is uniquely expressed on specific myeloid cells and acts as an endocytic receptor responsible for the uptake and processing of materials from dead cells. CLEC9A recognizes filamentous actin, especially in damaged cell membranes, and plays a critical role in Syk-dependent cross-presentation of dead cell antigens. CLEC9A Protein, Mouse (HEK293, Fc) is the recombinant mouse-derived CLEC9A protein, expressed by HEK293 , with N-hFc labeled tag.

The CLEC9A protein serves as an endocytic receptor, uniquely expressed on a specific subset of myeloid cells with a specialized role in the uptake and processing of material derived from dead cells. It recognizes the filamentous form of actin, particularly in conjunction with specific actin-binding domains of cytoskeletal proteins like spectrin, which become exposed upon cell membrane damage.
